Hi Daniel, any reason you don't map the kernel to the 3rd gigabyte virtual address space? I think mapping there is the historical reason and the benefit that userspace has always kernel mapped. I had to rewrite the asm loader to enable paging before jumping to the C code + the linker script. I think this is a really hot topic, please cover it in the video in details. Thanks a lot!

No particular reason why we didnt map in 3rd gigabye its acceptable where its currently mapped. Your welcome, we wont be able to make any new lessons in the part one course as their exists a part two now
